These two.. ok where do we want to start. Johnna has to be one of my favorite people ever. I've known her pretty much since she was knee high to a grasshopper ( pardon my southern coming out there ) She was a waitress at one of our favorite restaurants and I can promise you she can tell you to this day what I order at Walton's. She went on to start her real career and the only times I saw her were at weddings. Over the past 2 years she has been the lucky girl who caught the bouquet.
I can say I was ecstatic when she got her ring from Jake. Then the engagement session planning began.. we wanted something different.
Unfortunately we had to reschedule our original day, we had a storm hit and a tornado took out a lot of trees and caused damage at our house and at theirs. We were very fortunate and it could have been way worse. So the day we were supposed to shoot was spent doing clean up and we rescheduled for later that week and I am so glad we had a great day hiking and exploring. Johnna, Jake, along with their moms, Susan and I set out in the woods. We hiked down into the waterfall at Cane Creek and then out to the overlook that is spectacular.
