No this isn't your 20 something couple madly in love doing engagement pictures or getting married. This is what all of those kids dream of. Meet Jimmie and Jean, 57 years of TRUE love.   Their granddaughters were some of my best friends growing up and I was blessed to do this session for them in December as a surprise Christmas gift. They have 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

The one thing I always tell my couples is this is what I want for them. A lifetime of love and happiness! I want us to all be hanging out in our 70's and 80's talking about that time we did pictures of the side of some mountain or out in a field and how much fun it was. 

I had Nikki give me a little backstory on how they met and she gave me some pictures to add in and the story of their 1st date. 

Papaw thought she was pretty.  He said "real pretty" lol.   He bought new seat covers to impress her for his '51 Ford.  He had to get his Cotton bails up before he could put them (seatcovers) on to go get her. They went to the drive inn and had cheeseburgers and milkshakes. Mamaw said "it was the best day ever at that time."  He had a camera (seriously they have always documented everything ) he took a picture of her.

They were married on March 16th of 1960. Below are a picture of them on their wedding day and the photo from their 1st date.
